Warm Front Wood Pellets
Hardwood-Dominant Blend – Premium Regional Fuel
Warm Front Wood Pellets are manufactured by a northeastern U.S. pellet producer using a blend of approximately 85–90% hardwood and 10–15% softwood. The raw material is kiln-dried, screened and pressed to produce a dense, high-energy pellet that’s designed to burn hot, clean and efficiently.
Recent test runs show heat output of around 8,000–8,300 BTUs per pound with ash content in the ~0.4-0.6% range in well-run batches. The pellets are bagged in 40-lb units (and in some regions also 20-lb), aimed at homeowners who want an above-average fuel without stepping into ultra-premium pricing.
Availability: Warm Front is distributed primarily in the Northeastern United States via dealers, fuel delivery services and some regional retailers. Because it is a regional production run, checking for fresh stock, bag date and proper storage is especially important before purchasing by the ton.
Status note: The brand remains active and known among pellet stove users in the Northeast. That said, user reports note batch variability from season to season—making it wise to test a bag early in the season and confirm your stove settings match the fuel.
Bottom line: If you’re heating in a region served by the manufacturer, and your pellet stove is tuned for a hardwood-dominant fuel with clean burn and moderate ash, Warm Front Wood Pellets are a solid choice—just verify bag date, storage and batch freshness before bulk buying.

I have not burned these pellets yet and would love to get a bag in the mail for this 2018 season.

Damn good product
By FAR the best wood pellet we have used. We live on the NW end of Grafton Notch State Park where we get the full brunt of the headwinds of thec Androscoggin river source… from Rangely to Upton. One HUGE wind tunnel. Reaching sustained temps of -20F and below. For extended periods.
Given the choice, I will use no other product. By the way… they burn CLEAN I have to vacuum my stove half as muchvas the BEST CANADIAN producr available to me and WAAAAY less than than what Walmart or tractor supply carries

Tried warm front first time this year. I normally buy tractor supply but this year I have never had so much trouble getting pellets to catch!!! I have an old Winfield pellet stove. These pellets caught immediately I Manuel start burned great loved them. Went back for more all I found was 3 bags left! Hope I can find them next year! I bought some from Lowe’s, Home Depot tractor supply and Timber Creek had same problem this year with all Home Front were the best!

Warm Front Pellets
These are the worst pellets I have ever burned. Stove window is black after 1 day and the pellets are only half burned laying next to the burnpot which gets completely clogged. When cleaning the stove I had to place the metal pail outside since the half burned pellets were still burning and smoke was getting all over the house. The inside of the pellet stove was the filthiest it’s ever been. I will never use these again.

Warm Front is the EXACT same product as Green Supreme which is the EXACT same product as New England Wood Pellets. Check out NEWPs website to verify. All pretty below-average pellets that throw little heat and have high ash. So if you are considering Warm Front (or New England) you are much better off buying the Green Supreme from the box stores. Don’t be misled into believing they are any better.
I bought four tons of these at Sandri in greenfield this year. I’ve never used this pellet brand before. Warm front is the worse pellet brand I’ve yet to burn in ten years. In fact it burns dirty and builds up black crust on the exit auger to the point that it stops the auger in just a few days of running.
Hence now my lower auger motor is burnt out. Which I now have to buy and install. This has never happened in all my years of using different brands.
So sadly I’ve got a bunch of pellets left to burn up and they are dusty and icky. Now i’m worried about losing another motor due to the carbon mess.
Im not happy with these pellets and will never buy warm front again. I have a Englander stove. Sandri should get a better quality pellet to sell. Best pellet I have ever used is the Green Supreme hard wood from Tractor supply. Paid $224 a ton two years ago. Couldnt get that brand this year any where.
