Bought these at Lowes because the Greene Team were sold out very early this year. They throw good heat but have a higher amount of ash. I burn these in a Castle Serenity Pellet Stove. The first dozen bags seemed to have much more ash though than the next 20 I bought. But all of them left ash in my exhaust vent, about1/2″ of it. I never had that problem till I burned these. My vent was always very clean. The heat they give off makes me rate them decently high. Just know you’ll have more ash and cleaning to do.
Bought my clean energy pellets from lowes. Have gone through 1/2 pellet and am returning the rest!!! About 3 bags clogs up my auger and i have to keep hitting the top of my pellet stove to get the dust unstuck in my auger, then i have to let it run completely out, cool down and then vaccum out the inside of the pellet holder! Have had my pellet stove for 3 winters now and have never run accross this issue before!
these pellets just seemed to foul up the burning tray and left a lot of residue on glass and stovepipe
Best pellets I’ve ever used. I can’t believe how low ash they are.
I decided to try these pellets in my Harmon P35i fireplace insert and they burn hotter than the North American in my stove.and the price is right.
