Logik-e Wood Pellets

Logik-e  Hardwood Review   |   Logik-e Softwood Review

100% Hardwood – Super Premium Fuel

Logik-e Wood Pellets are manufactured from kiln-dried hardwood sawdust and residuals — species like maple, oak, hickory and walnut — without bark or recycled softwood content. The result is a dense pellet built for strong heat, low ash and consistent performance.

Typical performance: Recent test results list ash content around 0.24-0.30% and heating values of roughly 8,400 BTU per pound (dry basis). Because the feed-stock is premium hardwood and moisture is tightly controlled, these pellets deliver a clean burn and extended run time.

Availability: These pellets are distributed via select pellet‐fuel dealers and regional hearth/wood‐fuel retailers across parts of the U.S., especially the Northeast. Since they’re high-end hardwood only, availability may be more limited and bag date or season run should be verified before buying large quantities.

Status note: Logik-e remains listed as a premium hardwood pellet brand. That said, some users report batch variation in ash or burn‐pot build-up in older production lots—so testing a few bags early in the season is recommended.

Bottom line: If your pellet stove is tuned for hardwood fuel and you’re looking for one of the cleaner, hotter options available, Logik-e Wood Pellets are a strong choice—just check bag date, storage condition and verify current-season run before making a large purchase.

The Logik-e softwoods are the best pellets I have found by far that are priced low enough to make the math work. They burn very clean, and leave very little ash. I have to clean the stove less often, and when I clean the vent after each ton I do not have creosote built up in the creosote catcher and the vent is cleaner than with any other pellets I have purchased. I only wish I could buy them closer to home as I drive two hours round trip with a trailer to buy them.

They are the cleanest burning hottest pellets I have found for a low enough price. They are better than other brand's softwood pellets that I have tried. The pellets are consistent, they always light, and do not plug up the burn pot.
They are good enough that I drive two hours round trip to get them.

First ton of the Logik-e "premium" hardwood pellets burned ok, but alot of ash, had to clean burn pot up to 6 times a day with carbon build up. Like a fool I bought a second ton and the ash is terrible and I've had to clean the igniter chamber because it plugs up just after 20 bags! Absolutely dirty burning low heat, the ash is a strange looking black color, unlike previous brands I've used. Don't waste your money on Logik-e hardwood pellets.
