We heat with wood pellets this year we bought a skid of your pellets. I will never buy this brand again. The dust is worse than any other pellet brand we have used. Dust clouds fly out when the bag is opened and when it is poured. I do not need all the extra sweeping and dusting. I would not recommend this brand to any one!
I will never buy your products again bought three bags at Tractor Supply of the wood pellets for pellet stoves the first bag I opened was a quarter full of saw dust and/or fine the second bag was half saw dust and/or fine what a waste of time and money the third bag I didn’t even bother to open they all went in our fire pit in the back yard. You guys should be ashamed you produce JUNK!
Have had good service out of pellets in past but Not this year. There is a lot of dust in each bag . I buy 3 to4 ton a year.will be looking for a better pellet.
These pellets burned far better than the Pennington brand from Walmart. Pellets are hard to come by here in Weatherford, Tx. Produced low ash and little clinkers. I did have to make minor adjustment to air/burn ratio on my Englander PI-25. I like them.
Recently,I purchased a ton of Fiber Energy Products wood pellets from a local distributor here in Syracuse, NY. I was lucky to find anyplace in our area that had any pellets at all. Somehow , there has been a shortage of pellets in the northeast. I was ecstatic to get them, however, the “low ash” claim on each bag couldn’t be farther from the truth. I am dismantling and cleaning my stove every day whereas with other pellets, I only had to clean it out every two or so days.Needless to say, I will never purchase these again. In my opinion, the rating for this product is “0”.
I’ve used Heat Resource (Pine Bluff, AR) and a couple of other varieties of pellets over the past 3 years of use of my fireplace insert (Quadrafire Classic Bay 1200 pellet insert). This winter for the first time I got some Fiber Energy Pellets from a supplier in Morrilton here in Central Arkansas.
I have several praises for the product and a couple of minor complaints. The pellets burn pretty clean but do leave substantial mineral ash (normal with any hardwood pellet). There is a minor amount of clinker development, taken care of by regular cleaning. The pellets feed very nicely – they’re a relatively short pellet (great for feeding) and they ignite easily. I have had to turn my feed rate down to compensate for the shorter pellet, and the stove uses less pellets than it did with any other pellet to this point for the same heat level in my home.
So the pellets are a fine heat source. The packaging is a little suspect. Several bags were not completely closed and I had leaks from them. The heat value is quite good. There are a few more fines than in longer pellets (more cuts – more fines – normal).
All in all these pellets are now my pellet of choice when I can find them. I hope my supplier makes them their staple pellet. They’re better than the competition at this point.
Hello, I just brought in 2 more bags of your pellets, both of the bags opened up. I bought 3 tons of your pellets. The carport is covered with pellets, and they are no fun to step on. I will be very careful when I by next year.
Fiber energy pellets are far the worst pellets ever, the bags are filled with loose saw dust that get everywhere when you open the bags and the pellets do not heat like other pellets. I bought these at tractor supply company just after new years and after a dozen bags I said I would never by from them again. On Jan. 25 all of a sudden the pellets stop dropping from the auger so I had to hand empty the full hopper only to find a hunk of unprocessed wood sticking out of the auger. I had to take the auger motor off and slowly back spin the auger shaft removing several hunks of unprocessed wood that has never happen to me in 25 yrs. of using this stove. I will be contacting and returning them to Tractor supply Co.
