LG Granules Wood Pellets
100% Softwood – Premium Canadian Fuel
LG Granules Wood Pellets are crafted in Quebec, Canada using softwoods such as black spruce and grey pine. The process focuses on minimal moisture, uniform pellet size, and low ash. It’s a choice fuel for those seeking strong heat with minimal cleanup.
Typical performance: Heating values reach around 8,500 BTUs per pound, moisture content is approximately 4–5%, and ash levels are under 0.5% in many production runs. These pellets are bagged in 40-lb units and are sought after by stove owners seeking premium softwood performance.
Availability: LG Granules are distributed through selected dealers in the U.S. and Canada. Because they’re imported and premium grade, availability may be limited in some areas—check bag date, condition and delivery source before purchasing by the ton.
Status note: The brand remains recognized in the pellet-fuel community for high end softwood performance. Batch variation and regional supply can still impact results, so it’s wise to test a few bags early each season for your stove compatibility.
Bottom line: If your pellet stove is set up for softwood fuel and you want a premium option with excellent heat output and low ash, LG Granules Wood Pellets are a strong contender—just verify that you’re sourcing a fresh bag and your local supply is current.

Great Pellets
Just bought 3 tons of these and I’m about 10 bags in at this point. Great heat with minimal fines and ash.

Great pellets – Bought 225 bags from dealer in Canada last year who delivered them. Have add-on furnace. Burn clean, good heat, little ash. Tried to get them again this year but he would not deliver to Vermont (said too far 35Mi.)

Amazing best pellets I have ever used. Burn clean. When will you have them back in Halifax, nova Scotia?
Purchased 3 tons of Granules LG wood pellets this spring.Big mistake, Dirtiest pellets I have ever used. Lots of fine ask or soot that requires almost daily cleaning.
We are burning maximum soft hardwood blend and they are the worst pellets ever! Do not buy them they are junk a bunch of garbage we paid top dollar for I will never buy from them again they are junk so junky that I’m sure burning garbage is probably cleaner
