Great Tool For Cleaning Your Harman Burnpot Of Carbon
So here is a great tool that I like to use when chipping away the “diamonds” from the bottom of the burn pot. The tool that harman gives you just does not have the form and fit to get the job done when it comes to really getting rid of every bit of the deposits. Check it out and I hope this helps all of you.
- find a long screwdriver
- fire up the torch
- get the first 3 inches or so glowing red
- give the screwdriver a quick 20-25 degree bend and then quench
- chip away all that build up and you will be a happy burner!

Great idea! So simple yet effective! The tool that comes with stove is only good for one season and the tips become smooth thus making is almost impossible to chip off the carbon. I’ve been using a WW I bayonet, about 18″ long, and it works wonders!
