• Greenway Wood Fuel Pellets burn consistently HOT with an extremely small amount of ash.
• Greenway Wood Fuel Pellets are made from clean, kiln-dried sawdust and wood waste materials generated from our very own unfinished hardwood flooring operation and contain no bark and no additives.
Summary
2019- Oct – If you are a harwood fan then these are the pellets to seak out. Great smelling as well. Love the oak.
Super nice pellets. When you cut into the bag it smells like a nice hardwood floor was just laid down. I think I got an end of run bag with the fines but no worries. They were not bad. Heat and ash were awesome!! Keep up the great work

Just bought a ton of these pellets on the 26th, and burnt two bags in my Pelpro steptop in 24 hours. The temp has been 6 deg. f. at night and in 20s at day. I,m heating about 2000 sq. ft. at a temp of about 72 deg. average. I was burning American Wood Fiber and tried two bags of greenway pellets right after I had purchased a ton of the AWF at the beginning of Feb. and liked the way the Greenway pellets burnt. Since Greenway pellets and AWF are both hard wood pellets it should make a good comparison. The Greenway pellets seem to have alot of fines and thier dusty but they burn very clean. When I fill my hopper I cut the bag four inces from the side and pour all of the pellets in except for a large coffee container full. Then I sift the last of the pellets to remove the fines before putting the rest in the stove. There is some ash but not to bad. The pellets are a bit larger and feed at a slower rate, which I turned the Auger setting up to three and cut the air about 2/3 on the damper. So far There hasn’t been a klinker and minimal soot. I’m hoping to get a few days out of them before cleaning the stove. I think over all the Greenway is an excellent hardwood pellet. It doesn’t burn as hot as the AWF but more efficient which means less cleaning and better BTUs. I live in rural mid Missouri so I am limited on the type of pellets that I have access to. I purchased this ton of pellets at Orschelns @ 200.00 a ton.Next year I will prebuy a couple of tons of Greenway unless something better comes along. The Greenway pellets are much better so far than the AWF. I can,t give the Greenway a five star because of all the pellets out there, but a solid four for me.
We purchased Greenwood pellets from Lowes for the first time in January 2014 and they turned out to be the worst pellets we have ever used. The pellets are very small and the bag has a lot of saw dust in them. There is so much saw dust in the hopper that we have to vacuum it out. They burn faster than any other brand we have used in the past. I don’t know if we just got a bad batch or what but I hope I don’t have to buy this brand again.
Love these pellets wish I didn’t run out so soon should be available until end of Feb
We purchased a ton of Greenwood pellets ot Lowes for our pellet stovein October 2013. We are having a horrible experience with these pellets. They are clogging the grate after a bag and a half and we have turn the stove off, let it cool , and clean it out almost every day. We have never had this problem before and have had the stove for 8 years. we purchased a few other bags of 2 other brands just to see and they burned perfectly.
This is my first winter burning wood pellets, I have burnt 3 different kinds, and the Greenway by far burn the hottest. Just wish you could get them consistently. I had to buy a ton of a different brand and now my house furnace runs also. With the Greenway’s I was heating my 2500 square foot home with nothing but the USSC pellet stove. Very happy with the product. Would like to know if you can buy in bulk from the manufacturer.
Have used several other pellet brands and products, including Lignetics. This H&H product is very good, comparatively. Well packaged and consistently sized pellet, with not much saw dust in the bag.
Hot burning and very little ash, and also very low buildup in my stove’s pipe (approx. 4′ long, horizontal, through-chimney). I typically burn a bag a day, sometimes more if I’m at home.
I have burned about 5 tons of Greenways in my Lopi Leyden. These demand a slight premium price-wise, but I will buy again because I think they are worth it.
I have had problems with many other brand of pellets. I found & tried greeneway pellets in my quadfire for the first time this year, found them at miejers store in grand haven michigan. I am now on my 3rd ton and they are great for burn, consistent in size & no clunkers! wish i could find a little better deal on them. are they available by the manufacture in bulk purchase to the public?
I have used several brands of pellets in my quadrafire over the past 3 years and can say, without reservation, that these are the very best. They produce the most heat with very little ash. They are very clean burning and I buy them whenever I can find them in Delaware. Lowes had some last winter and when I found them I bought all they had.
Tractor Supply carries Greenway. Im from NC so dont know if your local store has them or if you even have Tractor Supply in your area.
I purchased 5ton last year from Lowes and burnt all of them in my Harman XXV. These are by far the best pellets i have used yet! They burn Very hot with little ash. My only complaint is I don’t see them at Lowes this year. Great pellets!!!
