Greenway Premium Wood Pellets

100% Hardwood – Premium Oak Fuel

Greenway Premium Wood Pellets are made from kiln-dried white oak sawdust sourced from flooring manufacturing residuals, resulting in a dense hardwood pellet designed for high heat and low ash.

Typical reported specs: high BTU output (around 8,000-9,000 BTUs per pound) and ash content under ~0.5%. The pellets are bagged in 40-lb units and distributed through regional dealers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Availability: These pellets are regionally manufactured and often sold via hardware stores and independent dealers; you’ll want to confirm bag date and stock freshness as availability can be limited outside the core region.

Status note: The product remains listed and active, though user feedback suggests that batch variation (especially on bag date and storage) can impact performance—so testing a few bags is recommended.

Bottom line: If your pellet stove runs best on true hardwood fuel and you’re looking for a clean, high-heat option made from oak, Greenway Premium Wood Pellets are a strong contender—just verify you’re getting a fresh bag and good local supply.

      Summary

2019- Oct – If you are a harwood fan then these are the pellets to seak out.  Great smelling as well.  Love the oak.

Super nice pellets.  When you cut into the bag it smells like a nice hardwood floor was just laid down.  I think I got an end of run bag with the fines but no worries.  They were not bad.  Heat and ash were awesome!!  Keep up the great work

      1. After every 3-4 bags of Greenway pellets, I need to shut my stove down and clean out the burn pot. I’ve had worse pellets but I’ve also had better. 2 1/2 stars.

      2. Using a Harman P43. I fully agree with everything in the admin’s review. We don’t have a lot of brands to choose from in SW Missouri, but I have managed to try 8 different brands over the last 2 seasons. Greenway is definitely my #1 choice. Quality is consistent. Heat output is terrific! Unfortunately, they seem to be in low supply once winter gets rolling along.

      3. I’m Dave from dillsburg pa.I ‘m an england stove owner since 2004 — in all that time of burning pellets I’ve never seen or used pellets this good !! These Burn so Hot that I can turn my auger speed down to half the speed and still get the same amount of heat !!!! (These could cut my consumption in half ) My need to clean the pot is every two days instead of every day because of the extremely low ash

      4. These have become my favorite pellet – clean, hot, and smell great. The pellets are quite small under half an inch I’d say. The downside – they are as hard to find as hen’s teeth. I got a few bags at Tractor Supply and they were gone the next time I went for pellets.

      5. I found Green Way pellets at my local Lowe’s store. I love them low ash and burn hot.
Now my problem is they don’t have any more and the ones they do have are not the same.
Can you tell me if Lowe’s in Woodstock Va can get these pellets anymore?
