Here is why: I have found plastic in the wood pellets, the wood pellets are way too long and jam up the feeder, and also wood shavings have been found mixed in with the pellets. Will cost you a motor auger. The ash that you get from this product is ridiculous! I repeat to save yourself a headache DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT WILL NEVER EVER BUY AGAIN TRUST ME!
PLEASE READ! Very dangerous wood pellets sold contractually by TSC and else where. Michigan Wood Fuels couldn’t keep up with the demand of their TSC contract, and possibly any other contracts they may have. Their ash contents went up to <1% as they label and these pellets won't burn properly and spill over the entire fire box every few hours creating a fire hazard. I've burned pellets long enough to know the difference between quality pellets and Michigan Wood Fuel pellets, who take unknown shortcuts in an attempt to keep up with a contract demand they cannot safely fill. I have a family and the safety hazards of burning Michigan wood fuels is not worth the risks.
Dangerous! Fill pot with ash stove overfills pot till overflowing. Extreme ash! Woke up today to CO detector going off. Keep making this garbage and sooner or later, your ginna get sued. Sorry but, come on……
Tried these immediately after a thorough cleaning and have had nothing but tennis ball sized clinkers and plugged auger problems every half a bag since! I grabbed 2 bags of the brand I normally burn and that eliminated any questions as to whether it was the stove or not. I have burned multiple brands over the last 3 years and these are the worst unfortunately, as I live in Michigan and this is a Michigan product.

Too many clinkers, gotta clean and start my fire 5 times a day. I’m stuck with this whole pallet.
Way Way to much ash. Have to clean the burn pot 4-5 times a day. Will not buy again.

Very high in ash and continuously having to clean out massive clinkers! Very unsatisfied with this purchase! Sadly we bought 2 ton.
High ash and fines, plus low Btu. Very unhappy.
