Hardwick Farmers Co-operative Exchange is a proud, member-owned business serving Central Massachusetts and the surrounding agricultural community. What began as a small group of local farmers joining together to increase their buying power has grown into a trusted regional supplier known for quality products, dependable service, and deep local roots.
A Century of Community and Growth
Founded in the historic Calvin Paige building on the Hardwick town common, the Co-op quickly became an essential resource for area farmers. As membership grew, so did the product line — from farm feed and equipment to home heating and pet supplies.
In 1974, the Co-op moved to its current 7-acre location on Route 32 (Lower Road), which features three warehouses and a full-service retail store to support expanding operations.
