American Wood Fibers Ultra Premium White Pine Wood Pellets
100% Softwood (Eastern White Pine) – Super Premium Fuel
American Wood Fibers Ultra Premium White Pine Pellets are made from pure Eastern white pine sawdust with no bark, additives, or recycled material. The result is a high-performance softwood pellet that delivers exceptional heat, low ash, and an ultra-clean burn for pellet stove owners who expect premium quality fuel.
Typical performance: These pellets boast heat levels above 8,700 BTU per pound and ash content around 0.25%. Because they’re made exclusively from white pine, they ignite easily, burn evenly, and produce less than half the ash of typical hardwood blends—keeping your stove cleaner and more efficient all season long.
Availability: American Wood Fibers distributes the Ultra Premium White Pine line across the U.S. through select hearth dealers and specialty retailers. Always check bag dates and storage conditions to ensure you’re getting a fresh production run for best performance.
Status note: This ultra-premium softwood pellet remains one of AWF’s top-rated fuels, manufactured under strict Pellet Fuels Institute (PFI) standards for consistent quality and heat output. Each batch is screened for fines and moisture to guarantee smooth feeding and clean burning.
Bottom line: If your stove runs best on softwood fuel, American Wood Fibers Ultra Premium White Pine Pellets are a top-tier choice. They burn hot, clean, and long—ideal for homeowners who want dependable, low-maintenance heat from a trusted U.S. producer.

Sept 2014: My first impression are that these pellets come in the nicest bag I have ever seen. These pellets burned very nice and the heat was good. The ash was average and the pellets fed nicely by not hanging up in the hopper on the walls. There was a little hang up but not too bad. The only thing I noticed was that if I had my air up a little higher, I probably would have has less dirty glass on the stove.<br>
Nov 2017: Really nice pellet! Burned hot, smelled good, ash was low. Again, the bag is awesome and thick. You can move them with ease without worrying about putting a finger through the wall. Great Product and I recommend these pellets this year.

Don't feed.
While they do burn with little ash they are a pain in the butt. If you don’t push the pellets down in the hopper every couple of hours they stop feeding. Wake up every morning to a cold house because these pellets stop feeding in the middle of the night. Every bag has a ton of fines. Very dusty, dust everywhere every time I fill the hopper up.Would only buy them again if they were the only pellets available.

Lousy pellet
I bought a ton of American pine pellets and it’s the worst pellet I ever burned. I have burning pellets for 21 years and tried the soft wood pine. The heat was not as good as the hardwood pellets and it left soot all over my glass which I never had. Stay away from this pellet it’s to soft and use the hardwoods.
