American Wood Fibers Ultra Premium White Pine Wood Pellets
100% Softwood (Eastern White Pine) – Super Premium Fuel
American Wood Fibers Ultra Premium White Pine Pellets are made from pure Eastern white pine sawdust with no bark, additives, or recycled material. The result is a high-performance softwood pellet that delivers exceptional heat, low ash, and an ultra-clean burn for pellet stove owners who expect premium quality fuel.
Typical performance: These pellets boast heat levels above 8,700 BTU per pound and ash content around 0.25%. Because they’re made exclusively from white pine, they ignite easily, burn evenly, and produce less than half the ash of typical hardwood blends—keeping your stove cleaner and more efficient all season long.
Availability: American Wood Fibers distributes the Ultra Premium White Pine line across the U.S. through select hearth dealers and specialty retailers. Always check bag dates and storage conditions to ensure you’re getting a fresh production run for best performance.
Status note: This ultra-premium softwood pellet remains one of AWF’s top-rated fuels, manufactured under strict Pellet Fuels Institute (PFI) standards for consistent quality and heat output. Each batch is screened for fines and moisture to guarantee smooth feeding and clean burning.
Bottom line: If your stove runs best on softwood fuel, American Wood Fibers Ultra Premium White Pine Pellets are a top-tier choice. They burn hot, clean, and long—ideal for homeowners who want dependable, low-maintenance heat from a trusted U.S. producer.

Sept 2014: My first impression are that these pellets come in the nicest bag I have ever seen. These pellets burned very nice and the heat was good. The ash was average and the pellets fed nicely by not hanging up in the hopper on the walls. There was a little hang up but not too bad. The only thing I noticed was that if I had my air up a little higher, I probably would have has less dirty glass on the stove.<br>
Nov 2017: Really nice pellet! Burned hot, smelled good, ash was low. Again, the bag is awesome and thick. You can move them with ease without worrying about putting a finger through the wall. Great Product and I recommend these pellets this year.

Best, cleanest burning pellets, ever
Wow, best pellets, ever, these White Pine pellets burn with a clean oderless blue flame instead of a smoky orange flame in my Harman stove.
Got a load at Weis Markets, but can’t find any more in the Hawley Pennsylvania area!

I just burned my first bag of the ultra white pine. Over all a good pellet. There is very little fines in the bag. The ash is very little compared to the lignetics that I have been burning most of the year. The lignetics have alot of ash and pouring them into my stove creates a ton of dust. With these i dont have that problem. The pellet also burns more consistent, the only draw back is that as far as heat output, the lignetics burn about 10 degrees hotter, which I can’t figure out because everything I have read says soft burns hotter then hard. Not having to clean my stove every few days is worth the 10 degree drop. Quadrafire Santa fe.
I have a 12-year old Quadrafire Castille insert and this is my first choice of pellet brand because it burns well, produces decent heat, and leaves very little ash and clinkers so the stove can run for multiple days. It also is one of best smelling pellet brands.

I burnt a ton of the AWF Ultra softwood pellets in my stove last winter and I liked them. This year, however, I bought a ton of these pellets and they simply won’t feed into my auger unless I check the stove every few hours and push the pellets down into the feed area. There just seems to be too much dust and the pellets hang up on the sides of the hopper.
I won’t be buying any more of the Ultras – most likely I’ll go back to burning the Hamers.
