Quality controls ensure that Clean Fire is one of the cleanest burning pellets available in the market. A blend of clean hardwood shavings and chips forms this product. Then a small amount of softwood is added to ensure a consistently energy-dense product. Fines are carefully screened before packaging and the resulting pellets typically run at about 0.5% ash, meaning half the cleanings that would be required with some other “Premium” pellets.

These are some of the best pellets I've ever used. I run them in a Frolling Wood Pellet Boiler that replaced my old oil boiler when it died. The machine, which I run 12 months a year as it also produces domestic hot water, has a 400 hour timer for when it asks to be cleaned and it will run all 400 hours without an issue. Clean out afterwards is really simple as these leave very little residue in the boiler's insides. This is a twice a year, 30 minutes per exercise. And since the company I buy them from, Wood Pellets.com, delivers to the house what could be better. Five stars all around.

These run clean, little residue and don't plug things up. Other brands I've used have caused issues with the boiler in the past requiring an early cleaning.

Seems like every ton I get has at least one bag with an issue, mainly at the bag closing seam. I'll loose a pound of pellets, but so what. Since their pellets their easy to clean up and most times the bag is 99% salvageable.

This was cheapest product, so I didn’t expect a lot. My 3rd year burning pellets. These do OK. Glass doesn’t get as dirty as with other pellets. Ash no problem. Burns efficiently. I have 2 tons. I am satisfied.

All positive. I thought hardwood would be a problem. Burn pot I find very little residual. Very little..
