Corinth Hardwood Blend (Red Bag)
Hardwood Blend – Premium Fuel from Maine
The Corinth Hardwood Blend (Red Bag) pellets are made from a mix of hardwood sawdust and residuals, producing a steady, even heat. Typical specs list up to 8,600 BTUs per pound with ash content under 0.7%. The hardwood blend delivers a dense burn and longer-lasting heat compared to softwood pellets, making it a great all-around performer.
Manufactured by Corinth Wood Pellets LLC in Maine, this line was distributed throughout New England and neighboring states. If you prefer a cleaner, higher-BTU softwood fuel, check out the Corinth Softwood Pellets for comparison.
Status note: The Corinth facility has reportedly closed, so any remaining bags on the market are considered legacy stock. Always confirm the bag date and condition before purchasing.
Bottom line: Corinth’s Hardwood Blend (Red Bag) pellets offered dependable heat and solid value while in production — if you can still find them locally, they’re worth grabbing for their balanced hardwood performance.

Running in a Harman older stove – model Invincible.
Huge amounts of ash and fines being generated.
5 bags (I use a bag a day) – my ash pan is overflowing.
Other pellet brands – I would only have to empty ash pan after 12 to 15 bags.
Have to shutdown Harman and clean ash once a week – and pull out of the bottom of the burn pot a significant amount of fines that are almost filling up the Harman burn pot clean out port.
Will never buy this brand again.
These have been the worst pellets I have used in 20 years of running this stove.
