        While the pellets produce good heat and leave minimal ash, their excessive length (over 2 inches) causes frequent auger jams—more than five times per bag in my experience. This creates a reliability issue that outweighs the otherwise solid burn performance. Due to the risk of the stove stopping unexpectedly, I cannot recommend these pellets for use in situations where the stove is left unattended, such as overnight or during the workday.
