      1. Dry Creek pellets

I burn Dry Creek pellets starting back in 2004. It was a great pellet and I burned it for 4 or 5 years. It became scarce in my area and I used other brands which burned ok but had a lot of black soot. I came across Lignetics pellets and found them to be the best. I used them for 3 years and they became scarce in my area and I then burned Timber heat, which I’m told are Dry Creek, and was extremely happy with them for a couple of years until they became scarce in my area. I bought Dry Creek for this heating season of 2024-2025. I had a half ton of timber heat left over so I burned that until it was gone and had the normal grey ash that was great. As soon as I started to burn Dry Creek, my ash turned real dark with with some black coarse ash. Others in my area compensated the burn by adjusting their air intake. My Harmon stove doesn’t have and adjustable intake so I’m stuck with dark dirty ash until it’s gone. The quality of Dry Creek has greatly declined and I believe they’re adding more fillers in it.
