Low maintenance burner – This patent pending technology has an agitator rod in the burn pot that breaks up any clinker or ash and helps move it into the ash pan. This greatly reduces cleaning intervals and also allows you to burn lesser quality, inexpensive pellets and alternate fuels.
Quick start ignitor with air pump
Quietest pellet stove in the industry – (40 – 45 dB at 10 ft. away)
Fluted cast iron firebox liner
Built-in floor protection – no hearth pad required
I HAVE ENVIRO BERN PELLET STOVE MADE BY SHERWOOD INDUSTRIES CANADA 11 YEARS OLD AND STILL GOING GOOD OMLY HAD TO REPLACE IGNITOR ONCE EXPENSIVE PIECE BUT HAVE A LARGE LOAD BAGS FROM NATURES FLAME IN TAUPO NEW ZEALAND..WANTING TO KNOW WHO DOES CLEANING WOULD A CHIMNEY SWEEP DO THE CLEANING.I HAVE AND OLD VACCUM CLEANER AND THAT DOES ALL I NEED BUT ITS INSIDE THAT NEEDS A CLEAN.
I have now had this stove for about 5 years. I already replaced the circulator, and I just replaced the panel board (2021–cost of $399.81 for total repair ($200 for labor alone), and it is BROKEN AGAIN (2021). It has broken down at some point almost every single winter since I have had it, always in the middle of the winter; this year twice. While I love the stove, when it is operating, the repair bills are costing me a LOT, too much. I need to call for ANOTHER repair call today at a minimum labor fee of $200; I am guessing the total charge will be about $400, which would make $800 in repairs so far 2021, and we are only in February. The annual cleaning is another $250. I may just STOP using this stove. I love having a roaring fire, and I want to save money burning pellets, but repair costs are eating up my costs savings. This is ridiculous. Burning oil is easy, just turn up the thermostat, call the oilman for a refill. If I had it to do over again, I would not buy this stove. It was very expensive, and I think it is a quality stove, but it’s need for repairs is getting OLD, also WAY TOO COSTLY. So if this repair bill is another $400, added to the annual cleaning fee, added to the $400 repair bill I just paid, that would total $1,050 in one year for maintenance costs. I can buy a lot of oil with that money. Plus, burning oil I do not need to lug around bags of pellets, don’t need to store pellets in my garage, nor would I need to clean out ash regularly. If today is another $400 bill I am done. I am NOT going to spend $1,050/year to maintain a pellet stove. I thought that I would recover from the costs of the stove, also the cost of it’s installation, and the costs of the slate mat below it, with savings on my heating bill, but again, repair/maintenance costs seem to be consuming the savings I would otherwise enjoy. I am getting very tired of this, also that it breaks down almost every year (I think I had one year out of five when it did not break down), and in the middle of winter, when the stove only gets used about six months out of the year; this year it has broken down twice.
I have had this stove for 2 winters. I have already replaced the daughter board and the auger motor. I already purchased another one of each because the stove is already not working properly (NOT Feeding) and we do not know which part is the problem. This is a piece of crap for what I paid for this unit it should last more than 1 year. No warranty and no response from the company for assistance. I am looking to replace it. I have had enough.
Had this Enviro m55 freestanding stove for 4 years. Now there is no warranty left and blower fan went. The issue is the price of this part $500+ and the 3 weeks timeline to get this part! Really it takes that long to get a part when that stove is your primary heating source in winter? Not impressed!
i read your comment and feel you are pretty familiar with this stove. i just purchased this stove and have some questions that my installer hasnt helped me with. i am not getting a consistant flame i tried the damper adjustment and no difference my settings are default 3 on both with standard pellets (green) setting?
