The P68 incorporates the Harman ESP Probe, which controls the exhaust temperature. The ESP Probe will shut down the feed motor if the temperature reaches a predetermined high limit temperature in the exhaust. A pressure switch will sense a loss of draft (from a door left open or a blocked flue) and automatically stop feeding pellets and shut down the P68.

Harman P68
We’ve had this stove for over 15 years and it’s been great. We burn Ambiance and it throws the heat like a flame thrower. Cleaning is easy, and we never have to play with the settings except for turning the temp down while were in the room.

Taylor would you buy the P68 again? I have a ranch and was thinking of buying one.
This is the pellet stove I bought for a 1600 ft cape home in Southern Maine. This stove is too big for my house, could EASILY heat 2000 sq feet and efficiently heat 2500sq feet. Put two of them in a large 3000+ sq ft home and you are golden. Will burn ANYTHING with automatic adjustments. Easy to clean, very efficiant, and beautiful at that.
what are the odds of an esp probe failing?
Great Pellet Stove, worth the money.Heating my 2600 feet, very imprisive.Just feed it hardwood pellets and your good.Cleaning the burn pot one time every 48 hrs.Ash pan every 4 to 5 weeks.
