Instant Heat Wood Pellets
100% Hardwood – Value Heating Fuel
Instant Heat Wood Pellets are manufactured from hardwood sawdust and residuals, compressed into 40-lb bags for residential pellet stove use. These pellets are designed to offer decent heat output at an affordable price for everyday heating.
Performance-notes: Users have reported burn times and ash levels that compare well in some batches, though pellet length and consistency have shown variation across production runs. Because this is a value fuel, expect moderate cleanup and variability in results.
Availability: Instant Heat Pellets are carried by select lumberyards, farm- and feed-supply stores in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Check your local dealer for fresh stock, bag date and current-season production before purchasing large quantities.
Status note: The brand remains listed in dealer inventories but has historically seen some quality-control fluctuation. It’s wise to test a few bags early in the season and avoid relying solely on older stock.
Bottom line: If you’re looking for a hardwood pellet that offers everyday heating at a lower price point and you’re comfortable testing and monitoring bag quality, Instant Heat Wood Pellets are a reasonable choice—just verify freshness and storage condition before committing to tons.

have used since we started heating with a pellet stove in 2001. Above average amount of dust in the bags, produced a lot of ash, and experienced carbon build-up in our burn-box. Did not burn as hot as brands such as Barefoot or Dry Creek.
