Kingdom Softwood Pellets
Kingdom Softwood Pellets were produced by Kingdom BioFuel in Peach Bottom, PA, made from clean softwood sawdust and residual wood from local sawmills. The goal was to deliver a pellet fuel that burns hot, clean and with minimal fines.
Typical reported specs from past testing: ash content around 0.39% and a burn time of roughly 14–15 hours per 40-lb bag under moderate load. Availability was primarily in the Northeastern U.S., with delivery or bag pick-up around Lancaster County and surrounding states.
Status note: It appears the manufacturer has ceased regular operations under this brand—the company website is inactive, and dealers in the area report the brand is no longer stocking new runs. If you see bags of Kingdom Softwood, they may be legacy stock, so check bag date and condition.
Bottom line: If you come across clean, fresh bags of Kingdom Softwood Pellets in your area and your stove is tuned for softwood performance, they can be a good regional option. But because the brand appears to be out of business or no longer producing, make sure you’re getting a current batch and confirm availability first.
