Each load of pellets is carefully examined for foreign materials and tested for optimum moisture conditions. Our pellets are made from natural wood sawdust that is reduced to uniform size and dehydrated to the desired moisture level. Moisture tests are run four times each hour for pellet mill and dryer control.
Following moisture control, the pellets are pressed and shaped. The end product is then weighed and sampled for consistency. Operational equipment designed to regulate these processes is inspected hourly for optimal performance.

To date these are the messiest pellets I have purchased to burn in my Quadra Fire Castile stove. The ash is comparable to what I experienced with Maine Choice but the heat output (BTU’s) seems to be low. The dust just loading the stove is unbelievable, one might suspect that it is dry I suppose but I have purchased my first and last 5 bags of this brand.
I think the pellets are mid grade quality and burn fairly well. The bags had a lot of dust in them and compared to the Pres-to-logs pellets I have burned in the past, they are almost as good. I purchased this brand of pellet from a Tractor Supply Company in Central Virginia. I use an EnviroFire EFII and I have been trying to decide on which pellets I would like to burn. I cleaned my stove thoroughly in October, and I vacuum it out every 5 or 6 bags. A clean stove is a happy stove.
