Nordik Heat
Nordik Heat Wood Pellets are a premium hardwood heating pellet commonly found at Lowe’s and independent pellet retailers throughout parts of the Northeast. These Canadian-made pellets are associated with P.W.I. Industries, a longtime manufacturer of sawdust, wood flour, wood chips and compressed hardwood heating products.
Nordik Heat pellets are made from clean hardwood material without bark and are marketed as producing high heat with low ash and minimal fines. Retail product information describes them as 100% hardwood pellets with a high durability rating, helping the pellets remain intact during handling while supporting a steady, consistent burn. They are typically packaged in 40-pound bags and may be sold individually or by the 50-bag ton.
As with any wood pellet, actual heat output, ash production and burn quality can vary depending on the stove, appliance settings, storage conditions and production batch. Customer feedback generally describes good heat and relatively low ash when the bags have remained dry, although damaged or moisture-exposed bags can contain excess fines and perform poorly.
