Pres-to-Logs Wood Pellets
Pres-to-Logs are manufactured by Lignetics from recycled sawmill waste and designed for strong performance: a dense, consistent pellet fuel that delivers good heat output with manageable ash. The bagged product is a 40-lb format and is often positioned as a reliable, value-oriented fuel option.
Typical specs: Users report “high BTU output and less than 1 % ash” in past testing, making this line correspondingly efficient for domestic pellet stove use. The manufacturer’s premium grade spec sheets for Lignetics list values around 8,100–8,400 BTUs per pound and ash content under 1.0 % for similar blends.
Availability: This product appears in regional dealers and big-box stores across the U.S., although bag availability and quality may vary by state and production batch. For best results, verify you’re buying a current-season bag, check the bag date, and store the fuel dry.
Bottom line: If you’re looking for a pellet fuel that offers solid value and dependable performance, Pres-to-Logs is a worthy contender—just confirm the batch, check for consistency, and consider how your stove handles mixed blend vs pure hardwood or softwood fuels.
