BAD WOOD PELLETS
11/2021. PurHeat Hardwood Pellets are one of the worst I have used. They have so much bark and dirt mixed in I have to clean my pellet stove 3 times in 24 hours to keep it operational.
With high quality pellets I can run it at least 3 days continuously before a cleaning.

The worst I've used.
I just got 7 bags of Pur heat hardwood pellets on Friday November 12th at our local Menards. I must say this is the worst experience I have ever had with any brand I have ever used in the past.
I went from cleaning my burn pot from every 3 days to twice a day. I have had missed ignitions and ambient probe codes. I’ve had large amounts of waisted pellets spilling out over my burn pot. None of this has ever happened with any other brand.
I’m very adamant about keeping my Pelpro pp 130 clean. I give it a thorough top to bottom cleaning twice a year and a complete burn chamber cleaning every week. With your pellets my glass can be freshly cleaned and within a couple hours be black again. Normally it takes a few days.
I would like to think this was just a fluke and I got a bad batch from Menards but after thought and talking to my wife, she reminded me we had bought your brand one time before and had the same results. I’m completely disappointed and aggravated at your product. I am now going to keep a picture of your product bag so I know not to purchase your pellets in the future.

Lot's of extra work Then give good heat.
Lots of extra work sifting anywhere from 1 to 2 cups of dust from each bag. Burns good after sifting sawdust out.
Lots of very long pellets that I’m good with.

Very poor quality dusty broken pellets. I’ve had some bad pellets before but the se take win for poor quality. Normally can run 4-5 days without cleaning the pellet stove – can barely get a bag of these through it. Lots of klinkers

Not Good
Having used a pellet stove for over thirty years I can say with confidence that these pellets contain none of the properties of a quality pellet fuel. I bought a ton, struggled my way through 10 bags, the rest will be put in the garden for mulch. If you want even average quality, look elsewhere. Nuff said.
