Softwood Pine or Softwood / Hardwood Blend.
The company was started in early summer, 2010, by three well versed young men in the forestry business. They soon discovered a special demand for the fuel industry in biodegradable wood products coming from their equipment and the paper industry. They invested many long days and nights into starting the pellet business and soon found a high demand for their specialized fuel source.

Previously these pellets were good. The ones I bought in Sept are not.
Long pellets jam up and burn about 20 deg colder than some others I bought to try and find out if it was my stove or the pellets.
I have burned pellets for 10 years in my St Croix. I have used many brands. I bought a ton of Rib Mountain hard & softwood blend not a bad pellet but every bag has wood chips & other garbage in it ! Would not recommend this product.
Have burned these pellets for 5 years and they were excellent, but bought 4 tons in September 2017 and they are pure garbage! Dealer would exchange bag for bag with another brand because they know they were bad this year, but we have to haul all of them in. Had to replace our auger motor due to the excess torque from these pellets and our stove Is built to also burn cherry pIts. The new auger motor has been in for 10 days and the repair man came again and said it is due to the pellets and stated we have an excellent stove, sadly he also works for the company that sold us these pellets and is getting more repair calls due to these pellets. We will be looking for a different brand and dealer!
Great pellets, hard to find since the fire in the New London area. Couldn’t get any this year hopefully find some for next year. Miss the quality.
Been burning pellets for 18years, the best l have used are the rib mountain.i never had any problems with them. I buy my pellets in Abrams Wi. At CENTRAL SALES the pellets are always kept inside.l feel this makes a big difference, and you don’t get a bag full of fines.great pellets fair prices and friendly folks to deal with at Central sales.
Are these pellets safe to be used for horse bedding? What kind of chemicals are used in these pellets?
These pellets were great in the beginning of the heating season… however very disappointed as the season went on… The quality went from a pleasant wood smell to a horrible acrid oil smell, that left a yellow residue on the glass and would daily make a huge clunker in the basket even after adjustment. During the season, the inconsistency of the length was such that it kept jamming up the auger. Wouldn’t recommend until these issues are completely resolved. Cleaning a stove every day is not acceptable. Stove is a 2006 Newport and is functioning perfectly on a lesser priced pellet.
I am truely bummed that i can’t get your pellets here in Black River Falls anymore. I have burned wood pellets for over 10 yrs and yours a by far the best i have found!!
I recently purchased some Rib mountain pellets, and was completley satisfied with their performance.Long lasting, great heat from the blend of hard wood and soft.It produced a little ash compaired to other’s I have used, the onely complant I have is the fines in the bottom of the bag’s.Keep up the good work you have new customer in me.
