Softwood Pine or Softwood / Hardwood Blend.
The company was started in early summer, 2010, by three well versed young men in the forestry business. They soon discovered a special demand for the fuel industry in biodegradable wood products coming from their equipment and the paper industry. They invested many long days and nights into starting the pellet business and soon found a high demand for their specialized fuel source.

Previously these pellets were good. The ones I bought in Sept are not.
Long pellets jam up and burn about 20 deg colder than some others I bought to try and find out if it was my stove or the pellets.
I have burned pellets for 10 years in my St Croix. I have used many brands. I bought a ton of Rib Mountain hard & softwood blend not a bad pellet but every bag has wood chips & other garbage in it ! Would not recommend this product.
Have burned these pellets for 5 years and they were excellent, but bought 4 tons in September 2017 and they are pure garbage! Dealer would exchange bag for bag with another brand because they know they were bad this year, but we have to haul all of them in. Had to replace our auger motor due to the excess torque from these pellets and our stove Is built to also burn cherry pIts. The new auger motor has been in for 10 days and the repair man came again and said it is due to the pellets and stated we have an excellent stove, sadly he also works for the company that sold us these pellets and is getting more repair calls due to these pellets. We will be looking for a different brand and dealer!
Great pellets, hard to find since the fire in the New London area. Couldn’t get any this year hopefully find some for next year. Miss the quality.
