Fired up my Harman P68 for the first time today to start the 2021-22 season. I have burned Turman Pellets exclusively since season two (stove was purchased in 2014). I appreciate the heat and low ash the Turman produce. Last year, I had about 15 bags that were compromised (moisture/bag seal failure). I purchase the pellets from the same dealer I bought my stove–we unload (6 tons) and go easy with stacking in my pole barn. Last year, the 6 tons were mostly good, but some of the ‘new’ shipment weren’t sealed properly. So far this year year, I’ve already had 4 bags ‘open’ at the top. I take my time when transferring the bags into my house–two of the bags opened when they were stacked. I hope I don’t have the same issue for the remaining pellets.

Pellet packaging
I really like your pellets however I have been asking for years would you please package them either 20 pounds or 25 pounds 40 pounds it’s just too heavy to pick up offload and bring in the house some providers are starting to do 25 pounds that would be a good marketing strategy for you to do that too

To Much Ash
Burned your pellets for the last 4 years.I own 2 harman stoves at home and at my camp. Always paid a little more for these and didn’t mind until this heating season. I burn 5 ton a year and this heating season the ash content has been terrible. Every 3-4 hrs i have to scarp the ashes from the burn pot. Thought it would be just one stove but the issue has happened on both stoves. Have you had any other feed back concerning this problem ?

Turman pellets 2020-2021 heating season
Turman 2020-2021 pellets are a dust bowl in a bag, loaded with fines. Creates a cloud of dust when poured. Invested in a CornVac system to dedust the 5 tons I am burning.Once they were the best, but the times have changed and I will not rely on reputation in my future purchase of pellets.

Dissatisfied longtime customer
I’ve been using Turman Pellets for several years and never had any issues until this year. Your product went from first to worse! These pellets produce so much ash and soot I’m having to clean every day. I’ve went from heat range 1 to heat range 3 just to produce enough heat to keep them burning. Please tell me you are going to go back to the old mix if not you have lost my business

Bad Batch?
I’ve been using Turman pellets for at least 2 years burning between 3-4 ton per year. They have been the best I’ve ever tried until now. The latest ton, purchased in mid December, has produced more ash than any I’ve ever used. I have to clean and empty the ash pan every week. Bad batch?
