Our premium wood pellets will save you money and time. Maeder Brother Quality Wood Pellets are packaged in easy to store and use 40 lb. bags. Simply open the bag, pour the pellets into the pellet stove and warm your home!
We bought 25 bags of maeder brothers pellets. They do not put out much heat and we have to clean our pellet pro stove out every other day cause the ash content is so high. Will never buy these pellets again.
my stove is a 49- shcpm from englander. not the greatest stove but no major trouble until I bought a ton of maeder brothers. I have to clean the burn pot every 12 hrs. the ash is full of sand. poorest quality I’ve ever seen.and the bags ain’t that great either.
I have been trying to get wood pellets from this company for just over 5 months now, with no success. Well over 20 calls and even more emails and I am no closer to getting a delivery than I was in April when I started this quest. Every call, every email results in the same run around regarding what must be a mythical person who is the only one who can be contacted to get a delivery scheduled. Christi has been trying to find him for nearly two weeks now, and no luck. One must wonder how this man gets all his other deliveries if he cannot be located for almost 2 weeks. Surely someone must have noticed the pellets piling up and not being shipped, or perhaps they might have left a note near where he picks up his shipments, letting him know there are other shipments waiting.
I’ve been burning pellets packaged with the store name where I bought my Harman P43 pellet stove, The Kernel Burner. I used them exclusively until recently. I got lazy and didn’t want to drive the 25 miles to pick up my usual pellets so I bought a half ton of Maeder Brothers pellets locally. I had cleaned the stove shortly before using the Maeder pellets. I had used 8 bags and began having trouble getting my stove to light automatically and had to light it by hand a couple times. I cleaned the stove today, and it was caked with white stuff all over the inside, The ash pan was overflowing, and the igniter box was full of ashes. There is a place on the back of the stove to clean out fines. This was packed full of sawdust. None of this had ever happened with the pellets from the Kernel Burner. I will never buy Maeder pellets again. And, the Maeder were only five cents less a bag than Kernel Burner.
Cleaning the stove is annoying enough without having to scrape white caked ash from the sides, etc. No more Maeder Brothers pellets.
Not a good product lots of ash I do weekly cleaning but now I have to every other day. I have two tones but never again sorry. ps bags brake open all the time.
absolutly the worse pellets I have ever used. they create tremendous amounts of ash. 1 bag generates as much ash as burning 4 to 5 bags of a better brand. and to top it off it does not generate nearly enough heat.
These are poor quality pellets in poor quality bags. Half of the bags that I bought were leaking pellets before I got them home. They produce less heat and more ash than any brand that I have bought. I have a Harman insert the works great with Greene Team, Instant Heat or Dry Creek pellets.
The make and model of stove is not significant to my experience with this product.
The pellets are of acceptable quality….
However, I bought a ton (my first and last)…from Maeder Brothers. a significant number of bags are leaking pellets because the top of the bag was not sealed completely. This resulted in too many pellets ending up in the trash instead of the stove.
Also, the pellets were full of dust. This resulted in a lot of dustin the family room around the stove.
BOTTOM LINE: A substandard product in poorly sealed bags.
