I have a Jamestown 2000 pellet stove, the stove is used every day and cleaned regularly every two days. I have been using your pellets bought at Walmart for almost two years now.I have noticed towards the late period of the last winter that the pellets I was using had changed
in size, more dust and poor burning, causing the window to blacken ( within 3 hours of cleaning.) and then having to clean the burn pot of clinkers, the manager at Walmart (this year) said if it happened again he would exchange them for a new batch, after buying now a tonne of these pellets we find they have gone from bad to worse, we now cannot see through the glass at all after 30 min of burn and have to clean the burn pot at least 5 times a day with very large clinkers coming out of it, also the chimney now has to be cleaned on a daily basis.. I must admit after these are gone I will never buy them again.

I have a Thelin Little Gnome and it has performed well until this fall. The Cleanburn fir pellets appear to burn too hot for this pellet stove as the high temp/flue indicator does its job and shuts the stove down. I can restsrt using the Cleanburn pellets but the stove will operate for various lengths of time from 1 to 2.5 hours and then shuts down. I did all the cleaning (stove and chimney) again and it still shut down. I had covered all the bases except one. Change pellets and get SPF mixture of pellets. For $5.49 plus tax at my local Canadian Tire store I picked up a bag to try. The stove ran 5 hours last evening(I shut off at 7:30 as temp in the house was 25 celcius. I restarted the pellet stove at 8:30 am and the stove has been running trouble free for 4.5 hours. The glass window does not ash up any more than the fir Cleanburn pellets. Ash buildup in the stove and burn pot seem normal but 9 to 10 hours is not a large enough body of work to make a real accurate statement. I’ll try to keep you posted. I must say that pellet stoves can be very tempermental as the air/fuel mixture ,type of pellets used and stove, exhaust/flue pipe cleanliness all play a part in overall performance. Sometimes it takes a lot of trial and error to solve the puzzle. Try to familiarize yourself with the stove as much as you can as $75 minimum service charge can add up.
first year burning trebio in a brand new Drolet eco65. no choice in my area as there are very limited supliers and no one is willing to deliver an hours drive one way. very dirty, inconsistent heat, inconsistent weight of bags (38.4 lbs in one, then the next is only 30.8 lbs, then the next is 34.7 lbs…self zeroing digital scale). at a price range from $5.49 to $6.99/bag + tax in my area, I will not use these pellets again once I find a reliable source of other quality other brand pellets.
I have just tried the trebio pellets for the first time and I have to say I would NEVER buy these pellets again! Tried to use them 3 days in a row and our home instantly filled with smoke! Our stove is the Drolet Eco 35 and has been operating efficiently for years! We are loyal in the cleaning habits of our stove which is vaccumed and cleaned prior to each use to provide a clean efficient heat. We removed the remaining pellets from the stove and have returned to our previous pellets with a smoke free efficient stove!!!! The smoke from the pellets could have caused severe smoke inhalation or even death, had we gone to bed and let it run as we would normally do with our regular pellets!!!! Could you explain why these pellets caused so much smoke? I would be afraid to use your pellets again! I await your response. Thankyou.
i have a new england pellet stove nothing but trouble wqith the top auger jamming i tried comfy cozy eastern embers and now trebio their a life saver chuck dartmouth ns
Been burning Trebio for 2 weeks….and I only have 140 bags to go. Will never, EVER buy these again. Used to burn LG pellets but these were no longer available. With LG, had to clean my Bosca stove once a week, stir the pot once day, and dump the pot once a week. Since Trebio, I have to dump the pot twice a day or it will overflow and shut the stove off. Excessive amount of ash, have to clean the stove every other day. Dirty burn and the biggest pain in the butt. Worst product.
This is my second year burning Trebio pellets. The first year I had great luck with them. Nice warm heat with little ash. This year I figured I would use them again since I had good luck with them last year. Big mistake on my behalf. For some reason this year I have very small flame, have to clean the stove out daily…sometimes twice a day. The pellets don’t seem to be burning properly. Get big build up of pellets in burn pot and the ash is very lumpy and hard. Will not purchase these Trebio pellets again

I have Harman P38+ Bottom feeder and even tho these produce more ashes than the Estern Ambers I previously burned it does not cause a problem have the bottom feed and large ash collection capacy can handle just about anything. I would not recommend the if you have a stove that cannot handle mush ash. I have to empty the ash about every 6-8 weeks vice every 12 week with easten embers so no big deal with this stove
