Pellets too long
Unfortunately, many of our 6 pallets of Northern have pellets that are not cut correctly making them twice as long as they should be. This stops our Harmon auger and if we are not here to manually break them up, the stove goes off.. ie it was 51 degrees in our house this morning.. we won’t be buying them next year.

worst ever for ash
I have been burning wood pellets for over 10yrs. This has to be the worst for ash. every 3 days I have to empty ash pan. I have had 100% hard wood before and never had this much ash. 6 tons of this. Wont be buying this brand ever again.

Great Pellet
I have been burning pellets to supplement heat for eight years. We burn 1 ton per season and have tried 7 or 8 different brands (softwood, premium, and big box store brand) our favorite to this point has been Country Boy. Was told by dealer that Lauzon Northern Max would match any premium brand but the price was a little better. The ash level is incredibly low and the heat is great, no complaints at all. Hope they have these next season.

Harmon Advance Pellet Stove burns only Northern Max Pellets for the last 6 years for $260 a ton the best bang for your buck..
Well want to add what I somehow left out in my review below
I run two stoves a Harman P68 on the first floor and a P43 in the cellar which I based my review down below on. Still think these are some of the best pellets as far as consistency, quality and heat. Rival much more expensive Softwood pellets in certainly heat output and low ash content pretty darn close.
If you are not getting the similar results might be time to do a serious cleaning or if your not inclined to do it yourself have your stove serviced by a professional.
thanks
