Blazer Wood Fuel Pellets from West Oregon Wood Products.
Blazer wood fuel pellets burn hot!!!!
BLAZER 50–40 lb. bags
From: Oregon
Source: Douglas Fir Blend
Ash Content: 0.3%.
BTU (Dry Basis): 9,200 avg.
The raw wood is acquired in the “green” (wet) state and dried to the proper moisture content.
Precise control of the drying process assures the volatile components will be retained to radiate maximum heat from the burning pellets.
BLAZER pellets are regularly tested by independent laboratories to ensure that our pellets exceed the standards established by the PFI (Pellet Fuel Institute) for PREMIUM FUEL classification.
Pellet producers across the country are using a large variety of wood species for the manufacturing of pellets. Each possesses its own characteristics that affect the ultimate heating value.
West Oregon Wood Products, Inc. has incorporated the finest species available in the Pacific Northwest, Douglas Fir, to produce our high quality premium fuel pellet.
have tried 15 or more brands ,hardwood or soft and blazer beets all. stove cleaning with other brands 4 bags with blazer perhaps a dozen .heat superior, also the bag holds up well .many other brands are poorly packaged go blazer…………
That is what my stove looks like after burning Blazer Doug Fir pellets!! Been a fan for 10 years , never had this problem….then you change your product!! Use to buy pallets…not any more…these pellets are dirty and leave LOTS of dust and clunkers(big ones). Very disappointed !!! Looking for a new product!! And yes my stove was serviced twice because I thought is was the stove….NOT… it was the pellets!! Wrote to you before and never got an answer!
I used Blazer pellets that I purchased from Home Depot last week. The pellets did not burn, but scorched and produced a large amount of carbon. Thinking I may have bought a bad bag, I used a second bag only to discover it did the same thing. I will be returning the remaining bags for refund.
Blazers are the best I’ve used so far. Been burning pellets eight years with a Lopi Pioneer Bay insert. Hottest, cleanest pellet by far. Only drawbacks are they burn very quick and the bags contain an inordinate amount of dust/fines. I will bet that each bag contains about 1-2 cups of pure dust.
I love Blazer pellets! Best I’ve ever used! I live in the northeast and hope there is a way to get more! I bought them at Home Depot and I hope they will get them again next year in Tilton, NH!
I have burned around 15 different pellet brands including Cubex, Energex, Green supreme Curran and others. I can say that Blazers are by far the best pellet I have used. The ash is nearly non existent and the heat is excellent.
We just bought our first ton of Blazers after reading some great reviews of them. We love these pellets!!! We’ve tried five different brands in our Golden Eagle 5520 (which is infamous for its burn pot overflow) and these were the absolute best. With other brands, we had to empty the burn pot at least once per day – the pellets simply were not burning fast enough – but with these, we can run the stove for days on end, and they burn HOT!
Our home is a 1,500 Sq ft cape, and our stove heats the whole house. These pellets make a real difference in the amount of heat we’re getting from the stove. We ran it on the “2” setting (out of 5) last night and had to turn it down this morning as it was 75 degrees in the house when we woke up (temps got into the 30’s here last night).
Great heat, low ash, and clean burning – I highly recommend them.
As an aside, I was dying to try these pellets but couldn’t find them in my area (southern NH). I contacted the company directly and they told me they didn’t have any shipments coming soon. About two months later, I got an email from them saying they just shipped some. I ended up getting a ton from HD. HD is out of them again, but the Blazer company said they will contact me when they ship this way again. Great customer service!

For folks complaining on these pellets you must not be adjusting your stoves properly
