Review of Cubex Wood Pellets
Oct 2014: These are still one of my all time favourite pellets! This years run I’m seeing incredibly low ash but I do have to scrap the burnpot every morning to get the slight ash build-up down into the ash pan. The heat output is incredible and I will trade a little extra work for the added heat.
Nov-2017Just got done with a bag and these get a thumbs up! Very nice and dense pellet which gives off great heat. The ash was not bad and the heat was very nice.

I have a harmon advance pellet stove and have tried new England, cleanfire, ambiance and cubex(northern) pellets for the past 5 years and the winner is CUBEX… lowest ash, highest BTU and very low fines and competitively priced…Lauzon has the very best pellets period!
Great, but pricey. These are the best pellet I’ve ever burned, but also the most expensive I’ve ever bought. I guess you get what you pay for. They are really long and I’ve heard a few make the auger work a little harder, but otherwise perfect.
Hot, clean, all recycled wood, slides down the hopper better than soft wood. Good price point. Best.
Where can I order these by the skid to be delivered in West Quebec?
just bought two bags of these to try, not really sure what I think of them compared to other types. But They seem to leave a lot of ash and when I got up this morning I could smell a smell like plastic or electrical wiring burning. I checked everything around no problems anywhere. What I had to pay price per bag, I don’t believe I will buy this brand again. I will use the second bag but I am not totally pleased with this brand of pellets.
I think there’s a LOT of people here who don’t know how to operate a pellet stove. These are the cleanest, hottest burning pellets I have ever seen.
I love these pellets.
I have only taken my stove all the way apart once this winter. I’m in NH and you know what kind of weather we’ve had. I put a bag in the morning and one in the evening.
My stove heats our entire house on 2 bags a day. Very low ash, makes for a quick vacuum out once every 2 weeks.
Will never use anything else

Harmon PC 45 stove. Got a bad batch that created creosote like residue that caused problems. Had to pay for service call to remove buildup from sensor. Not happy.
I have an ashley wood pellet stove normally I love them but that is not the case I bought twenty bags I opened the bag dumped them in my hopper I couldn’t believe what I saw pellets that were one one and a half inch long pellets after six bags my auger motor was shot I could hear the struggle it was having trying to feed my stove my cousin borrowed two bags he was horrified the noise his stove was making so stay away from these pellets I just ordered a new auger motor today
