Going down hill
Always loved green mountain pellets. This year has been a problem apparently there not drying them out enough they are sticky with pitch and stick to the hopper. Also leave more ash than usual. They need to leave them in the dryer a little bit longer. I hate to have to change brands But we’ll see

you say these are softwood but oak and hickory are hardwoods which are these

Good flavor but way too much ash. Much more than I get with my Diamond M pellets.

Unusual residue
I’m getting a very “metallic” residue in my burn pot…which tends to block the air vents.
