Clean Burn brand of wood pellets contain none of the bark, dirt or insects associated with burning wood. The low moisture content of the Clean Burn wood pellets results in nearly total combustion when used in an approved wood pellet stove, reducing emissions and creosote buildup almost entirely. Wood pellets cost less per energy unit than almost all fuels. Clean Burn pellets are made from 100% wood sawdust and shavings which are dried, screened, ground and compressed in Tacoma, Washington. The pellets produce a consistently high BTU, low ash fuel. No additives or binders are used in the process.
Summary
Hoping to get a bag this year 2018. Keep reaching out but have not heard back

Product has changed
I’m convinced the company has changed its product in the past couple of years. When we first started using them, they were advertised on the bag as “fir” pellets. They have since removed the “fir” from the wording. The quality has gone way downhill. The first year I used them I only had to clean the window every 6 months. Now I have to do it twice a week. And the residue buildup in the tray is so thick I have to scrape it out with just about every bag I load.

Been burning pellets for over 30 years and the clean burn I bought for 2020 are by far the worst pellets I’ve ever tried to burn in my stove.

Getting Golden Fires or Bear Mt. when I can.
I live in the Sierra’s, Ca. Always burn Golden Fire’s supplier only had 1 1/2 pallets and settled for 128 bags of Clean Burn. Just finished 1/2 pallet. Stove got so much creosote had to take it apart. Exhaust blower clogged. firepot coated. I’ve learned a lesson and it’s only Nov.

Ruined my stove parts.
Started having issues with my stove, lots soot build up, heavy rusting of metal parts in burn box, cracked cast iron fire pot. Call three pellet stove companies to come out and look at repairs. One asked what pellets I was using and the other tow said I must be using clean burn pellets. All three said not to use this brand. The wood sits in the salt water Puget sound and this causes the damage. I returned the last four bags and have switched brands.

Terrible
These pellets are garbage. I have used different brands and this one is the worst. I did an experiment between two different brands clean burn and another leading brand. The un names brand had very little ash and did not leave my stove dirty after 4 bags. Clean burn leaves a hard creosote type substance in my burn pot. It was terrible after only two bags. After two bags of the other there wasn’t any build up. I repeated this test three times and the same results. By another brand these are terrible on your stove. I would give. O stars if I could.

Creosote build up.
Have had a pellet stove for past 23 years. This year pellet supply was sketchy so had to settle for what was available. Always burned SPF all these years. This past season had to settle on Clean Burn fir. From October to
April had 3 occasions the chimney built up with creosote to the point it was dripping. Took rain cap and went to 2
different pellet stove techs to show creosote build up. Both concurred ” Too much moisture in the
pellets”Needless to say will not be using Clean Burn any more. Always used SPF for past 23 years and never had this happen. Harman pellet stove. Canadian user.

Satisfaction Review
We had been using another brand which was supposed to be A-1 . We had to switch to the Clean Burn brand – we are VERY satisfied with them. The cleaning of the stove does not have to be done every day – very little ash in the basket and hardly any creosote on the burner tubes. Next winter we will definitely be using this brand ALL winter .EXCELLANT product.

Awful
This is third year burning these pellets 2018/2019 pellets seemed very inconsistent heat Some bags created white ash while most dark
This year 2019/2020 i have sofar used 1.5 pallets same as last year except sofar 11 bags have been wet and clumpy or swollen
Pallets were factory sealed no damage at all the wet bags also had no damage at all stored in covered area
I will never buy this garbage again and if i could return my remaining 1.5 pallets I would all wet bags have been lot# 08319
