I purchased 4 tons of your pellets at abuchon hardware in Richfield springs new York the manager told me there was a few broken bags and to return them and he would replace them.as I started using them I am finding every bag is not sealed properly and falling apart loosing pellets everyware.I may have to take legal action for this problem as it not his fault.
I have to say that these by far are absolutely the WORST pellets I’ve ever come across. I have burned multiple pellets over the years and got tired of stores running out in my area so to assure I had pellets this winter I bought 5 tons of Inferno pellets at Tractor Supply near end of summer. What a terrible mistake I made. So many unburned pellets in the ash and what a mess they made constantly! Never again will I buy these.
Where in Southeast ct can I purchase inferno gold all I find is the red bag I want the gold bag he please.
Have owned a Quad Fire Mt. Vernon insert going on 4 years. Used New England and other brands .This year just before delivery Agway calls and says they were all out of the N.E. pellets. They were bringing a brand called inferno.. Looked on line and after reading some of the comments got very worried about what I was getting. Worries over. Have gone through about 25 bags and I am sold on the inferno. Burn clean. Low ash. Great heat. Best yet. As long as the inferno keeps performing as they do I will be a returning customer.
I have a quadrifire Castile freestanding stove and I bought a ton of Inferno gold from Big Y to try. They produce a good amount of heat and were a good price. The downside is they produce a lot of ash. I have to clean out the stove after 2-3 bags. I prefer these to what the big box stores sell and would buy these again if some of the more premium pellets were’nt available.

Hello, I have a quadra fire1200 insert that I clean fully when I change woos pellets, I tried inferno pellets a few years ago and they sucked big time.
So this year with the so called wood pellet shortage, like the so called oil shortage, which was brought on by greed of both of the above.
So anyhow it gave me a chance to try the inferno gold, and what gem it was to try, lots of heat clean burning and my glass was kept clean, hardly no ash.
So if your looking for a good pellet at a dam good price try a few bags and the hell with the over priced pellets.
Brought 6 tons of your pellets. Since 1992 have used New England Pellets. When the shortage came last spring I got a bag of your pellets. Liked the way they burned so this year when Hamshaw Lumber of Keene had there sale I got the six ton. They were delivered. now it came time to put them on the porch. Your bagging of these pellets sucks. Your sealer needs something done to it. Had 5 bags blown up. ,3 bags seals broke as we put them on my porch. could keep these bags ,some pellets lost. Brought others back to store ,they exchanged them. didn’t have to do this with other pellets, they have a great bagging thing. Hope you can fix this problem. Still have 2 ton to open .
older inferno pellets from rhode island (2012) were horrible. very little heat and very very dirty. we actually contacted the company and were re-imbursed the full amount of our purchase (over 600.00) and we were allowed to keep the pellets. i’ve heard the new infrerno gold are being manufacturered somewhere else, not in rhode island
Just bought 3 tons of inferno pellets from Lowes using my military discount thinking I’m getting a good deal but now reading all of these reviews you people are scaring the hell out of me …Mark
